February is the second month of the short dry season, the most popular month in Tanzania, and safari holidays mark the middle of the green season. February is the warmest month of the year and is the time of plenty and many animals – many herbivores are calving, and plenty of migratory birds.
The Landscapes are still beautifully green following the short rains of November – December. So, there are lots of newborn animals running around – and a lot of predator action too
February Travel Highlights
The best time of the year to see the calving of the wildebeest is in the plain area of Ndutu which stands between Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater. This is one of the most events to see the adventures and more actions from predators like lions, cheetah, and leopards on hunting.
