Tanzania in March – Green Season

Early March tends to be dry while the long rainy season begins at the end of March – afternoon downpours are the norm, bringing with them much more cloud coverage and even higher humidity, but wildlife viewing is still very good and there are a lot of migratory birds to observe.

Serengeti National Park

This time of the year – the Great Migration tends to move from the Ndutu Plain area to the Grumeti area. Following the arrival of newborns in January–February, there are lots of young animals to see.

Ngorongoro Crater
