Tour Details

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola” route is the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory style accommodations in lieu of camping. Many favor Marangu because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope and direct path.

We find that the low success rate of the Marangu route is mainly the result of taking the short five-day itinerary. A five-day climb simply doesn’t give you enough time to acclimatize. Furthermore, climbing Kilimanjaro is not a race. Take your time and soak in the views and experience!
