Zanzibar Beaches: Enthusiasts beach and nature lovers

Zanzibar is an island paradise, has the best beaches and popular beaches with hidden bays and rocky outcrops. From north to south it is roughly 100km long, while west to east is a short distance of 40km. 

Here are the Zanzibar Beaches:

• Nungwi Beach in the north: One of the best and popular beaches on the island. More tours, more activities, more nightlife, and more new friends to meet!
• Kendwa Beach in the north-west: The best beach on the western side of the island which is not far (10 minutes by car) from Nungwi in the north – while you’re there, don’t forget to watch the amazing sunset!
• Matemwe Beach in the northeast: The beach has a spectacular scenic view and is becoming more and more popular with visitors. 
• Kiwengwa and Pongwe beach in the east: With exquisite beaches that are heavily influenced by the low tide.
• Paje Beach in the southeast: The beach is very beautiful and is the perfect place to catch some rays, relax in the shade – a place to try your hand at kite-surfing or sailing
• Kizimkazi Beach in the south: The beach is an ideal spot for diving and snorkeling.
